Dear Self,

A voice to the voiceless No’s of our Souls.

Our human tendency imprisoned our inner feelings of self-defense. Life is not complicated. Humans love the mixture of complexities. What does it mean? If you are not in the mood to do something or obey someone’s to-do list whether he/she is from your close circle or not, you greenlight a Big Yes to them and A bold NO to ourselves. We seem to be deaf to our inner agonies. We are not feeling good, we take a headache pill, visit a doctor for a general checkup once we fall extremely sick. Do we ever ask ourselves what went wrong with ourselves? Do we ever listen to ourselves and try to pacify her? Do we ever hear the tears of the Soul trying to survive the mountains of silenced voices of freedom? Do we ever give the right ourselves to rest from ours and theirs TO DO LISTS?

It is okay if you say No for your boss when he/she overuse you and voice it up even if they will fire you.

It is Okay if you cancel a call and sip your tea peacefully.

It is Totally fine if you apologize for not going out with your friends and plan accordingly with yourself what makes you feel better.

It is Totally fine if you express your denial for something you feel that you are forced to do it, Please, say a Big No and let it go.

It is Okay if you switch off your mobile for a day, 2 or a week and get rid of all the pressing reminders of day to day calendar.

It is Okay, to close the door of your room, switch off the light, light a candle, turn on the music you like, wear the dress and perfume you love, close your eyes, listen to your soul, meditate, refresh, forget, travel, cry, smile, dream, pray, hope, wish, embrace and most of all remind yourself with how beautiful she is, how brave she is, how inspirational she is. Now, you can look at the mirror and say it loudly and proudly, thank you Dear Self, I am proud of you…
